Dr. W. Palm

Aansluitend aan mijn opleiding geneeskunde aan de Universiteit Leiden heb ik vanaf 2003 in het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum de opleiding tot radioloog gevolgd, gecombineerd met een promotie-traject. Het laatste jaar van de opleiding radiologie bestond uit een differentiatie Neuro- & Hoofd-Hals radiologie, die na mijn opleiding uitgebreid werd met een fellowship Neuro & Hoofd-Hals radiologie in Leiden.

Van 2010 tot 2012 heb ik in Tarragona, Rome en Milaan de European Course in Neuroradiology gevolgd, die in 2012 in Edinburgh afgerond werd met het European Diploma in Neuroradiology. In 2015 promoveerde ik aan de Universiteit Leiden op "Ventricular dilatation in aging and dementia".

Sinds 2012 werk ik in het Maastricht UMC+ als radioloog, met als eerste aandachtsgebied Neuro & Hoofd-Hals radiologie en als tweede aandachtsgebied Abdominale radiologie. Tevens ben ik binnen het Academisch Centrum voor Epileptologie werkzaam als radioloog in Kempenhaeghe (Heeze). Sinds 2020 ben ik lid van het Hoofd-Hals Sectiebestuur van de Nederlandse Vereniging van Radiologie.
